Tarabtronic is an independent electronic music record label and a sanctuary for emerging electronic artists. We sign and promote techno alongside house, trance, EDM and bass music, and sending us a demo is always free.
What techno do we sign?
Melodic and progressive techno, peak-time and driving techno, hard techno, and minimal or hypnotic techno. Most of the techno we hear sits between 125 and 145 BPM. We look for a clear idea, a groove that holds a room and a sound that feels like you. Artists keep full creative freedom: we never ask you to chase a trend.
How to send a techno demo to a record label
- Send one finished, unreleased track that you made yourself, through our Submit Demo form.
- Upload it as an MP3 (320 kbps recommended, up to 25 MB). Links are not accepted, so every demo can be checked for copyright.
- Name it clearly: Artist – Title (Original Mix).
- Leave headroom on the master and only use samples and vocals you have cleared.
Every demo goes through an audio recognition check to protect artists, so only send music you own or have fully licensed. You can send one demo per month. Read our Demo Submission Terms for the full rules.
Get heard before you are signed
Share your techno tracks in the free Tarabtronic Talent Pool. Listeners like and comment, the chart is ranked only by real likes, and our A&R team uses it to discover new artists.
Techno talent pool
Not ready to send a demo yet? The Tarabtronic Talent Pool is a free techno talent pool: add a track from your own SoundCloud, it goes live straight away, and listeners like it to push it up the techno talent pool chart. Melodic techno and hard techno have their own charts too. Our A&R team watches the charts to discover new artists.
Release and worldwide distribution
When we sign a track, Tarabtronic releases it as a label and distributes it worldwide to streaming services and download stores, with the terms agreed in writing and no upfront fees. Artists keep their creative freedom, and we support every release with A&R, marketing and playlist pitching.
