How Tarabtronic protects the rights of artists and rights holders, and how to report music or content used without permission.
Tarabtronic is a record label, and protecting the work of artists is at the heart of what we do. We respect copyright and related rights, and we expect everyone who uses tarabtronic.com, the Tarabtronic Talent Pool and our Discord community to do the same. This policy explains how to report content you believe infringes your rights, what happens next, and how to respond if your content was removed.
Rights holders can ask us to remove a remix of their work at any time, even if the original artist is credited.
If you own the rights to a work, or are authorised to act for the owner, and believe it is used on our services without permission, you can report it:
To help us act quickly, please include:
If you believe your content was removed by mistake, or that you have the right to use it, you can send a counter-notice to copyright@tarabtronic.com within 14 days. Please include your name and email, the link to the removed content, an explanation of why you believe the removal was a mistake (for example, a licence or permission you hold), a statement that the information is accurate, and your typed full name as a signature.
We may forward your counter-notice to the person who reported the content. If they do not confirm within 10 working days that they have started legal action, we may restore the content at our discretion.
We take repeated infringement seriously. Accounts that receive repeated valid copyright complaints may be suspended or permanently closed, and may lose access to the Talent Pool, contests and our Discord server. We may also act straight away in serious cases, such as uploading leaked or pirated music.
Only send a report if you own the rights or are authorised to act for the owner. Knowingly sending false or misleading reports or counter-notices can harm other artists and may lead to legal liability. We may ignore reports that are abusive or clearly unfounded, and close accounts that misuse the reporting system.
Sending us a demo does not give Tarabtronic any rights to your music. We treat demos as confidential and use them only to decide whether we would like to work with you. To protect artists and rights holders, we may automatically check uploaded demo files and direct audio links with a music recognition service that compares short samples with released recordings. We receive a lot of music, so music we release that sounds similar to a demo you sent does not mean your demo was used. If you have a concern about a demo, email demos@tarabtronic.com.
Our releases, name, logo, artwork and website content are protected. To use Tarabtronic music in a video, film, game, advert, event or any other project, contact licensing@tarabtronic.com for a licence. Do not re-upload our releases or use our name or logo in a way that suggests you are part of, or endorsed by, Tarabtronic. To report someone misusing Tarabtronic content, email copyright@tarabtronic.com.
