These Terms of Use set the rules for using tarabtronic.com, submitting demos, joining the Tarabtronic Talent Pool and taking part in our Discord community.
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Tarabtronic (“Tarabtronic”, “we”, “us”). Contact details are on our Legal Information page. They apply to your use of tarabtronic.com, our demo submission form, the Tarabtronic Talent Pool, our Discord community and any emails we send you (together, our “services”). By using our services you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, our Copyright Policy and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
We may hold, remove or restrict content and limit, suspend or close accounts for rule violations, rights concerns, fraud or safety reasons. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and allow a response; urgent protection or legal restrictions may require action first. To request a review, email support@tarabtronic.com with your account or track link and relevant evidence. A human reviewer will consider the information.
The Tarabtronic Talent Pool is a free community on tarabtronic.com where producers share their tracks, and members listen, like, comment and follow artists. Anyone can listen without an account.
To like, comment, follow or add tracks you need a free Talent Pool account. You must be at least 21 years old and legally able to agree to these terms to create an account, submit music or enter a competition. We do not currently accept participation under 21 through parental or guardian permission. Use one account per person, give accurate details, confirm your email address and keep your password safe. You can join with your email address or, where offered, log in with Google or Discord, or with a one-time login link we email you. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Tell us straight away at support@tarabtronic.com if you think someone else is using it.
You add a track by pasting the link to a public track on SoundCloud. The track plays from SoundCloud, so SoundCloud’s own terms also apply. New submissions and edits are held for review and appear publicly on Tarabtronic only after approval. Review times vary and approval is not guaranteed. Check your dashboard for the current status. Your SoundCloud upload remains subject to its own public visibility settings. You can add one new track every 7 days.
By adding a track, you confirm that you own or hold the permissions needed for the recording, composition, vocals, samples, artwork and other material you share. For a remix, edit or other adaptation, retain written permission or licence terms covering the intended public use. Credit the original artist and any other contributors as required by the licence; credit alone does not replace permission. Sharing the track must not breach an agreement with a label, distributor, publisher or other rights holder. We may ask for supporting rights information. Public availability in the Talent Pool is not certification of ownership or legal clearance.
You keep full ownership of your music. By adding a track, you give Tarabtronic a free, non-exclusive, worldwide permission, for as long as the track stays in the Talent Pool, to:
We will never re-upload, sell, distribute or monetise your track under this permission. If you remove your track, we will stop featuring it in new posts and remove it from our playlists and reposts within a reasonable time. Being in the Talent Pool does not create any agreement to sign or release your music. If we would like to release a track, we will contact you, and any deal will be a separate written agreement.
Each member can like a track once. Only likes from members who have confirmed their email address count on the chart, and you cannot like your own tracks. Do not use bots, fake or multiple accounts, paid likes, like-exchange schemes or any other way to manipulate likes. We may remove likes, tracks or accounts where we see manipulation.
Keep comments respectful and on topic, as set out in our Community Guidelines. Comments, likes and follows are public. You can report a track or comment you think breaks the rules, and we may remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion.
The chart updates once a day and ranks tracks by likes from the last 30 days. Tracks stay in the chart for 90 days after they go live. The chart is for fun and discovery. A high position does not guarantee a review, a reply or a record deal, and there is no payment for plays or likes in the Talent Pool.
From time to time we may run remix or demo contests. Each contest page sets out its own brief, deadline, prize and rules, which apply together with these terms. Stems and material provided for a contest may only be used for that contest, unless the contest page says otherwise.
You can choose to offer one of your Talent Pool tracks to Tarabtronic Radio, our free 24/7 stream, from the Talent Pool radio page. This is always your choice, and it is separate from the permission above. If you offer a track to the radio:
Every file offered to the radio is checked automatically with audio recognition before it can play. A track that is flagged by this check is never played on the radio, distributed or used for anything that earns money, and the radio option stays closed for it. It can still stay on the Talent Pool chart. Radio play is not a release and does not create a record deal.
You can ask us to remove any of your tracks from its track page, or by emailing talentpool@tarabtronic.com. We aim to handle removal requests within 48 hours. You can delete your whole account at any time from your account settings, which removes your profile, tracks, comments, likes and follows. If a track is deleted or made private on SoundCloud, it stops playing and is hidden from the Talent Pool.
The Tarabtronic Discord server and the Tarabtronic app inside it are part of our community. By joining the server you agree to these terms, our Community Guidelines, and Discord’s own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Participation in our Discord community is limited to people aged 21 or older who meet Discord’s own requirements.
You are responsible for everything you post, share or link in the server. Our moderators may remove content, and time out, kick or ban anyone at their discretion to keep the community safe. We may report illegal content to Discord and to the authorities. Discord is run by Discord Inc., not by Tarabtronic, and we are not responsible for Discord’s availability or for private messages between members. Our team will never ask you for passwords, login codes, money or files in a direct message. Moderation questions and appeals: community@tarabtronic.com.
Feedback, likes, chart positions, contest results, Discord roles, or conversations with our team, on the website, by email or in Discord, are not an offer of a record, publishing, management or any other deal, and do not create any obligation for Tarabtronic. Only a written agreement signed by Tarabtronic is binding. Anything shared in public channels or comments is not confidential, and Tarabtronic and its artists may independently create or release music that is similar to ideas shared there.
The Tarabtronic name, logo, website design, text, graphics, photos, videos and releases on our services are owned by or licensed to Tarabtronic and protected by intellectual property laws. You may share links to our pages. Do not copy, reuse, sample, re-upload or use our name or logo without our written permission. To license our music or content, contact licensing@tarabtronic.com.
We respect the rights of artists and rights holders. If you believe something on our services infringes your copyright, please follow our Copyright Policy and email copyright@tarabtronic.com. We remove infringing content and close the accounts of repeat infringers.
Artists signed to Tarabtronic are also covered by their own written agreements. If a signed agreement conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement applies. Signed artists can reach us at artists@tarabtronic.com, and royalty questions go to royalties@tarabtronic.com.
Our services link to or rely on services we do not control, such as SoundCloud, Discord, Google and social networks. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for their content, availability or actions.
You are responsible for the music, links, comments and other content you submit. If you break these terms or infringe someone else’s rights, you agree to cover the reasonable losses, costs and claims that Tarabtronic suffers as a result, to the extent allowed by law.
Our services are provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to keep everything running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee that our services will always be available, secure or error-free. To the extent allowed by law, Tarabtronic is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, lost profits, lost opportunities or lost data arising from your use of our services, from content posted by other members, or from files you submit. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
You can stop using our services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if required by law, or if we stop offering a service. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as those on content ownership, liability and disputes, continue after your access ends.
If you have a concern, please contact legal@tarabtronic.com so we can try to resolve it. Contacting us does not prevent urgent action, suspend legal deadlines or limit access to a competent court or regulator. These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Tarabtronic is established, subject to mandatory rules on applicable law and jurisdiction, including the consumer laws of your country of residence. Nothing in these terms removes consumer, privacy or other rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we do not give it up. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a reorganisation, merger or sale. These terms, together with the policies linked above, are the whole agreement between you and us about our services.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with the date it was last updated. If we make important changes, we will tell Talent Pool members by email or on the website. Continuing to use our services after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
