Tarabtronic is an independent electronic music record label and a sanctuary for emerging electronic artists. We sign and release house, techno, trance, EDM, drum and bass, dubstep, bass music and all the undefined frequencies in between, from producers all over the world, and we run a free Talent Pool where anyone can share their tracks, collect likes and get noticed. Here are the answers to the questions producers and listeners ask us most.

What is Tarabtronic?

Tarabtronic is an independent electronic music record label and a community for emerging electronic artists. We cultivate house, techno, bass and every sound in between, and we give artists full creative freedom. “Tarab” is the Arabic word for the deep emotional feeling music can create in a listener, and that feeling is what we look for in every release. Alongside the label we run the free Tarabtronic Talent Pool, where new artists can share their music and get discovered.

Where is Tarabtronic based?

Tarabtronic is an online, international record label. We work with producers, DJs and singers from every country, and everything we do, from demo reviews and the Talent Pool to signing and releasing music, happens online, so artists can join from anywhere in the world.

What genres does Tarabtronic release?

Our focus is electronic music as a whole: house (deep, tech, melodic, progressive and Afro house), techno and melodic techno, trance, EDM and big room, drum and bass, dubstep and bass music, and anything in between. We look for a strong identity and a track made for the dance floor.

How do I submit a demo to Tarabtronic?

Use our demo submission page. Upload your finished, unreleased track as an MP3 (links are not accepted, so every demo can be checked for copyright). Demo submission is free, and our A&R team aims to listen to every eligible demo. A demo is private: it is not published anywhere.

What is the Tarabtronic Talent Pool?

The Tarabtronic Talent Pool is a free, public community for electronic music producers. You add a public SoundCloud track, it goes live straight away, and members can listen, like and comment. The most-liked tracks climb the Talent Pool chart, which updates every day at 21:00 GMT.

Is the Talent Pool free?

Yes. Joining, uploading, liking and commenting are all free. Each artist can add one track per chart week, and an artist’s three newest tracks can be on the chart at the same time, so the chart stays fair for everyone.

What is the difference between a demo and a Talent Pool track?

A demo is a private submission for label consideration. A Talent Pool track is public and is ranked by the community. They are separate routes: a Talent Pool listing does not create a record deal, and sending a demo does not publish your music. Our A&R team listens to both.

Does Tarabtronic sign new and unknown artists?

Yes. We care about the music, not follower counts. Many great electronic tracks come from bedroom producers, and the Talent Pool exists so new artists can be discovered.

Where can I listen to Tarabtronic?

Follow Tarabtronic on YouTube, SoundCloud, Instagram and TikTok.
